Journey
through to deep interior to the volcano Mt. Batur. Circle
the mountain stopping at several villages along Lake Batur.
Following a picnic lunch, passing orange plantations,
bamboo forests and rural villages, we arrive at our destination,
the beautiful Taro Farm in the highland near Ubud. Relax
with a cool drink as the fish sizzles over dried coconut
shells and produce is gathered for your evening meal.
Your tent affords an excellent sleep, and nature will
provide for your morning bath or shower. Trek around the
area as farmers work the rich soil. Return for a sumptuous
breakfast, then witness the local art of making palm oil,
palm sugar, and the typical Balinese alcoholic beverage
"tuak" ricewine. Midday we return to your hotel,
concluding a memorable journey into the heart of Bali.
