km/22 miles north/north-east of Ngurah Rai International
Airport on 17 acres of lush, green terraced rice slopes,
overlooking the Ayung River.
Upon
arrival at Four Seasons Resort Sayan, guests cross a wooden
bridge leading to a unique architectural achievement,
an elliptical lotus pond rests on the roof of the resort's
three-level central building.
Guests then descend through a staircase
in the pond to the reception area where they enjoy stunning
180 degree views of the valley.
This secluded, intimate hideaway extends
from the top of the rolling hillside down to the river's
edge. Nestled in the central highlands of Bali, Four Seasons
Sayan, overlooks the lush greenery of terraced rice fields
rising from the sacred Ayung River. Meandering paths lead
to luxurious villas, each with its own private plunge
pool and secluded outdoor shower, open to the sky with
a view of the tranquil river. Luxurious suites offer panoramic
views over the valley and are located in the main building.
A passage embroidered with rivulets and
flowers leads to eighteen spacious one - and two-levels
suites, steps from The Spa and dining. From the top of

Rooms
The Resort’s 18 suites and 42 villas
offer the ultimate in privacy and comfort – a tropical
haven set in the lush Ayung River valley. Guest accommodations
reflect the exotic surroundings, featuring Indonesian
furnishings and local handmade fabrics.
Suites
Suites are conveniently located in the Resort’s main
building, near The Spa and the restaurant and lounge.
Available with either one or two levels, each suite offers
a comfortable sitting room and dining area, in addition
to a spacious king bedroom.
Villas
The secluded villas, situated throughout the Resort, include
a large wooden deck and a private plunge pool framed by
tropical gardens. Spacious One-Bedroom Villas and Riverfront
One-Bedroom Villas are well appointed, with one king or
two twin beds. Two-Bedroom Villas feature an enlarged
living and dining space. Each bedroom has its own private
terrace, showcasing spectacular views of the river or
the rice terraces.
The elegantly appointed Sayan Villa offers
a lavishly furnished king bedroom and oversized living
and dining area. The palatial three-bedroom Royal Villa,
accessed from above through its rooftop lily pond, boasts
an abundance of exotic amenities, including an open-sided
“bale” overlooking the Sayan valley.
Families and Special Needs
The Resort's design has open staircases, many water features
and drops to the Ayung River. With this in mind, we believe
that the Resort is not appropriate for children (age 10
and under). Situated on a hillside, the Resort also has
many steps, and therefore is not recommended for guests
with physical challenges. However, electrically powered
carts are available 24 hours a day to chauffeur guests
around the Resort. We also recommend Four Seasons Resort
Bali at Jimbaran Bay as an alternative. Villas and suites
for non-smokers are available on request. Please contact
the Resort directly to make the best arrangements.
